In my world, freedom of speech is paramount. That's one of the main reasons I rail against feminism. Banning words ("Bossy"), telling us what to think and say through political correctness, it all just smacks of cultural Marxism and fascism. Freedom of speech extends to books; so when someone burns books they're basically telling the author to shut up; just like when feminists use shaming language, or their cliche phrases like "You're a Misogynist", or "Check your privilege". It's meant to shut down debate; they simply don't have facts or logic to debate.
Still, I was surprised to find these pictures of someone burning a book. It wasn't a book I would expect a feminist to burn like "The Myth of Male Power". Instead it was a book that all parents should read: The War Against Boys. A book that dispels the myth that schools shortchange girls.
Research that was commonly used to support claims of male privilege and male sinfulness is full of errors. Almost none of the research was published in peer-reviewed professional journals. Kinda sounds like one group (ahem, feminists) spreading propaganda. Some of the data turn out to be missing. A review of the facts shows boys, not school girls, on the weak side of an education gender gap. Feminists really hate it when their 'facts' no longer support their views. Do they adjust? Hell no.
A boy is typically a year and a half behind the typical girl in both writing and reading. A typical boy is less committed to school and less likely to go on to higher education. In 1997 college full-time enrollments were 45 percent male and 55 percent female. It's predicted that the proportion of boys in college classes will continue to shrink. It should be an interesting dynamic when well educated females start complaining that not only are there no "good men" left, but the ones that are around are less educated and earning less money. Will "true love prevail? I doubt it.
Here are the pictures:
Apparently bought used: the patriarchy is keeping her poor.
Silly rabbit, salad tongs are for SALADS. Probably a vegetarian to boot.
Obviously doing this on purpose to provoke.
Showing her face to the public. But that's okay, if someone harasses her, she can play the victim card.
I'm sure she'll make a great mother [sarcasm].
Now some silly feminist will dispute their ideology being close to (if not the same) as Marxism or fascism, but the last time I saw pictures of a book burning was one that took place in 1933, in Berlin.
