INFOGRAPHIC: Are you a feminist?

 INFOGRAPHIC: Are you a feminist?

This is an infographic I came across just last week. Other than being poorly made, and railroading you into their way of thinking, it did hold many of the traits of a feminist that I find annoying:

  • Whine, whine, whine until you get your way.
  • Throw around questionable statistics, with no sources.
  • Throw around statistics that don't tell the whole truth. Could it be that a male coal miner makes more money than a female daycare worker?
  • Preaching Equality while ignoring injustices that affect BOTH sexes.
  • Hypersensitivity. Throw in a single insult, presumably made by a man, and label it HORRIFIC.
  • Assumptions that ALL women are on your side (if you could just 'educate' them...)
  • A 'with us or against us' attitude (you'll do loops in this infographic until you concede you are a feminist, or, you'll decide you have better things to do with your time, like take a shit.)
  • The lumping of ALL men as being perpetrators or at least enablers... or just being a man! (afterall, 3/4 of the parliament is men, so why didn't they just legislate it being 50% women?  You either called a 16 year old girl a Sahara Snatch, or you didn't stop it.  You make more money! )
  • Not a single positive thing to say about men. We're only 50% of the population.
  •  Asking rhetorical, and stupid questions like, "Do you think rape is good?"
  • The usual undercurrents of blaming, and victimhood.
  • Odd logic.  Why does the flowchart move from a rape statistic to a box that says being called a girl is a big insult.  Are they equating the two?  I'd much rather be called a girl than be butt-raped, but that's just me.
  • No solutions. Most flowcharts come to some sort of endpoints/conclusions like "Congrats. You are an ISTJ on the Myers Briggs!"
  • Hoisting guilt on a large segment of the population who have never been a politician, never earned more than a woman, never insulted a 16 year old girl, and never raped someone.

Feminists blame MRA & Misogyny for Elliot Rodger's shooting spree

Feminists are so misguided

I wasn't planning to write a blog post today, but my blood boiled reading the recent articles by feminists blaming the Elliot Rodger's shooting spree on MRAs and their go-to excuse of mysogyny.  My head spins how irrational and illogical these feminists are.

  1. It was not just a shooting spree. Three of the victims were stabbed with a knife
  2. I've yet to come across a single MRA article that condones violence of any kind.
  3. The media, which is heavily biased towards all things feminist, continue to focus of the female victims.  FOUR of the SIX people killed were MEN.
  4. Feminists are using this horrible tragedy to push their own agenda. Especially when it just happened and we don't have all the facts.
  5. As a side note:  some are even blaming Asperger's syndrome in part.   A quick web search will show that " psychologists and psychiatrists agree that people with autism or Asperger’s are not more likely to commit violent crimes than members of the general population".
  6. Elliot's fantasies included killing both men and women.
  7. There are all sorts of mental health resources and screening for new mothers who suffer post partum depression, but when it comes to men with mental issues I personally don't see much other than maybe 10 free visits with a counsellor IF your employee benefits cover it.  The majority of homeless people have some mental illness; and over 90% of homeless people are MEN.
  8. Absolutely no mention of his mother.  Did she withhold her motherly love? At any rate, even if the mother had some part in raising a mysogynist, the feminists would be quick to blame the father.  Afterall, it is ALWAYS the man's fault. His dad was white and well off and male, so the feminists have their perfect trifecta.
  9. PUAs and MRAs have nothing in common! One group wants to pick up women for sex, the other group wants to fair custodial rights to see their own children.
  10. Why is it I have not seen a single picture of one of the male victims, but I have seen pictures of one of the female victims several times?

Best MGTOW comment I've seen recently

Consumer culture is the insanity of a culture being obsessed with status, materialism and money but knowing now what mostly drives it (women's nature and the simps that will do almost anything to get some snatch) the picture is clear and it all makes sense. I truly believe MGTOW is a group of men that is ahead of the curve leading towards true growth for humanity and being more than just an animal. A time in history for true eMANcipation for men.

Update: just saw this on Chapin's Inferno:  Someone compiled a list of serial killers going back to 1860, and found that the number of non-white serial killers is greater or equal to the number of white serial killers.  I very much doubt you will hear this statistic on mainstream media; they'll just keep propagating the lie that ALL serial killers are white.  Not to mention that Elliot was only half white.

16 Anti-Male Shaming Tactics Infographic

16 Anti-Male Shaming Tactics Infographic

Shaming tactics are often used by female detractors who refuse to argue a MGTOW's points with logic.

"You're a misogynist."

"Check your privilege."

These tactics are emotional devices that play on a man’s insecurities and shut down debate.  They demonize men who ask hard questions, and elicit sympathy for women.  The majority of these shaming tactics are basically ad hominem attacks.

I stumbled across an article that categorized these major shaming tactics, but it was quite long and wordy.  I needed a short version as a handy tool when arguing online, so I thought this would be good material for an infographic.

I made the following infographic to categorize the major shaming tactics that are used against men whenever a discussion arises about feminism, men’s issues, romance, and relationships.  Each category contains the name of the shaming tactic, an example quote employing the tactic, and how to counter these with logic and not emotion.  Depending on your feedback, I might make some more infographics.

MGTOW: Effect of Divorce on Financial Networth

MGTOW:  Effect of Divorce on Financial Networth

Sometimes you hear advice, and it just doesn't sink in.  You know the advice is true, but for some reason you just file it away with other good advice like keeping your weight down in a healthy range, eating more vegetables, excercising more....

You've probably heard the cliche statistic of 50% of marriages ending in divorce, and we all know what upheaval it creates in the family (especially the kids), with relatives, with friends and your general sanity. We've all heard various stories of a wife taking her husband to the cleaners, and unfair settlements which basically spawned a Men's Rights movement that seems to be growing daily.   The following is my story.

My story

Unlike most stories, my divorce was quite calm and amiable. The marriage had been dead for a while, and no amount of walking on eggshells and trying to 'fix' things by me initiating marriage counseling SEVERAL times over the 11 year marriage, made any lasting difference.  When she announced she had met with a lawyer and wanted a divorce, I simply accepted it.  A massive weight was off my shoulders.   We chose to go the route of collaborative law. Each party brings their lawyer, and you hash out an agreement.  No judges, no long drawn out process.  Child support was based on a federal table and my current income, spousal support came to $100 a month, and visitation was pretty open-ended.  She had been a stay at home Mom for the past few years, and fortunately for me found a job rather quickly.  Eventually I didn't have to pay spousal support anymore.

Taking all this into account, the effect on my fiancial networth was still huge. In 11 years of marriage 'we' accumulated a networth of about $220,000, and had about maybe 2 years left before our house was going to be free and clear. I say 'we' because I made 3X the salary that she made when she was working.  The legal separation was official in September 2003, but to lessen the effect on the kids, we all spend one last Christmas season together, and I eventually got my own apartment in February of 2004.  Around June, our house finally sold, and after all the real estate (vulture) fees, lawyer fees, and closing costs, my financial networth as a now single, divorced guy, started at a new (and lower) level of $98,949.30.   A small drop of 56%.....

A chart says it all... buyer beware

The drop in networth from divorce was bigger than the drop during the financial crisis of 2008...
It was only while composing this article that I noticed how it took roughly 7 years just to get back to my last networth figure when I was married.   I only discovered MGTOW this year, but by definition I was MGTOW for roughly the last 4 years.  In the last two years I had spent next to zero time on online dating sites.  With all the freed up time, I focused much more on my finances and investing.  The majority of the growth has simply been money I have saved, tax refunds from maximizing my RRSP, and saving tax on the money put into my TFSA account. Not much has been made in the investments themselves since I am mostly in safe investments (stocks are way over-priced) but that is an entire series of articles in itself.

My core pillar

One of the core pillars, if you will, of going my own way is financial independence. MGTOW is a statement of self-ownership and a declaration that I have the supreme right to decide what my  goals in life will be as opposed to having my goals dictated by someone else.  Some of my most important goals are financial in nature.  Most men today die poor not because they didn't make enough money, but because they spent it on bullshit consumer items their spouses all but had to have. In my case, when I was married, our 3 bedroom, 2 story house was on track to be paid off in 2 - 3 years.  There was already talk of buying a bigger house on my wife's part! To me, paying off a house is was a cornerstone to retiring before age 65 (on a decent retirement income). A bigger house just means paying more property tax (which NEVER goes down), and a bigger house will have more space that will 'need' to be filled with more 'stuff'.

My advice to men

I guess it's easy for women to have ever expanding wants when your slave/husband is making 3X your salary. Is that what the feminists mean by male privilege? Take that extra money you're not spending on women and associated BS (like stylish clothes, a chick-magnet car, and those nice shoes that women judge us on), and invest it instead. As an unattached man, you have the ability to adjust your income and purchases to a degree impossible in any committed relationship. Being poor is a state of mind, not your salary. If you haven't made the mistake of getting married, you have a HUGE headstart financially.

27 Statistics about the fairer sex

27 Statistics about the fairer sex

I was MGTOW for years before I came across the MGTOW philosophy.  As I continue to learn more about MGTOW and related material, it just seems to further cement my choice.

The following statistics are results of a survey from That's Life! magazine.  The survey questioned 5,000 women, average age 38, across England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland.

% of women
Almost 50%
women would lie to their husbands or partners to keep their relationship going if they became pregnant by another man.
one woman in two would not tell her man that the baby she was carrying was not his, if she wanted to stay with him.
would lie about contraception in order to get pregnant, in spite of the wishes of their partner.
admit to lying.
tell "little white lies" most days.
would stay with their husband if they found out he was a "secret transvestite", but only half that number (17%) would put up with him if he refused to wash.
would pass off a second-hand gift as a brand new present.
have claimed a festive card was "lost in the post".
admit to telling "big, life-changing lies", with 13% saying they do so frequently.
Partners are most likely to be lied to by women, with friends (65%), parents (64%), customers and clients (58%) and bosses (57%) also being deceived.
would tell their friends if their man was hopeless in bed
want their partners to be "brutally honest"
admitting to stealing sweets or chocolates.

admitted to stealing something, while one in four had taken from their parents
would "sneak a bottle or two" home if they were invited to a party by a well-off friend.
would "kiss and tell" to the media for £25,000 if they had a one-night stand with a celebrity
say they would marry purely for money
would allow their man to sleep with another woman for £50,000.
% have got drunk at the office Christmas party
admit to "getting off with someone they don't fancy
have ended up having sex with the boss
say they would not tell a future partner if they had a sexual disease. This rises for 65% for single women.
fake orgasms
claim they are tired, have a headache, or feel ill to "get out of lovemaking".
women with a long-term partner say they have cheated on him by having an affair
% of all women have had an affair with a married man.
do not trust their partner.

What was the point in getting married again?

So if you happen to find:
1 of the 32% that trusts their partner
1 of the 17% that don't carry around a life changing lie
1 of the 45% that don't lie to get out of lovemaking
...your odds of finding one that meets all 3 of these criteria, the percentage chance goes down to 2.44% (0.32 x 0.17 x 0.45).

These 3 criteria are my own personal choice; some of you will find other criteria that are more important to you, and some will not stop at 3.  I just picked 3 which I personally considered basic, and nowhere near the laundry lists I've seen on online dating profiles.  Maybe I'm old fashioned, but trusting your partner is a wee bit more important than a common female criteria of "must be taller than me because I like to dance in heels."

For those MGTOWS who are not at level 3 (men who rejects all form of traditional romantic relationships, including dating, one-night stands, etc), use protection, hide your wine bottles and hide your sweets.

A MGTOW responds to Isabel Chalmers

A MGTOW responds to Isabel Chalmers

Just another damn whiner
Somebody call the Waaaaaaah-bulance.

For those not familiar with Isabel Chalmers, she is the entitled woman that wrote an article titled "Dear Nice Guy, I Wasn’t Ready For You Before — But I Am Now."    Oh, goody.

I've seen several articles pick that article apart, line by line, and although well written and making some powerful observations, I often find the comments section of these articles hold some real gems.  My favorite is by a commenter going by the nickname of numbCruncher, who penned the following response:

A MGTOW's letter

Dear Isabel

I spent twenty years trying to be nice to women like you, and in return I received nothing but contempt. What makes you think I would be inclined to welcome you into my life now?

While you were sleeping, I changed too - I haven't remained "nice", every ready to "be there" for you, just waiting to drop everything to be by your side and take care of you. Your contempt and your sadism changed me. I am now what you would think of as "nasty". Not one of the bad boys who used to excite you, but one of the increasing number of men who has come to see you as their enemy.

An equal relationship with a woman like you is simply not possible. What you have to "offer" me is this:
1. The chance to have children entirely on your terms, when you see fit
2. The prospect of losing those children on your vindictive whim
3. A total loss of control over my own money
4. Arbitrary confrontations and accusations
5. A partner who believes I exist to serve her, and who refuses even to acknowledge the concept that I have feelings of my own beyond those she has decided for me.
6. The loss of whichever of my hobbies and friends you dislike
7. A partner who can physically and mentally abuse and manipulate me, then dismiss any protest I make about it

You expect me to be instantly "ready" for you now, simply because you are ready for me? For me that shows that you expect our relationship to take place very much on your terms and not at all on mine.

Whilst you were changing so was I. I have become very happy without a woman in my life. And I have realized that you have nothing to offer me but pain. It is too late for you.

 Other gems

Nice guys aren't vending machines that you put remorse quarters into until you get a stable relationship.

Every time some chick says "Everyone I end up with is a jerk" I correct her and say "No everyone YOU PICK is a jerk. Tons of decent guys hit you up constantly but you stampede over them for some tattooed drug addict that just got out on parole." No one to blame but yourself cupcake.

It's ok for a woman to do whatever the hell she wants, no
consequences, and all men have to automatically accept her for all her
faults, solve all her problems, satisfy all her desires, and oh yeah,
make certain he has all his shit in order, but god forbid HE is supposed
to have standards.
